Mandarin House is BACK with our 5th Annual Lunar New Year and Cancer Research Fundraiser!

As you may know, we lost all our founders to cancer in one form or another. So a few years ago, we decided to start an annual fundraiser in their honor to raise money to support research in the fight against cancer. Thanks to all of you, it's been a local La Jolla hit! so be sure not to miss it!

Proceeds from this event will be donated to the Cancer Research Institute as well as Scripps Cancer Center, where my father received his care. Together we have raised about $40k in the first 4 years and hope to continue to grow on that success!

I just want to say Thank you La Jolla for all your love and support we’ve received these last few years.  To the loyal customers who’ve eaten here from the 70’s when we first opened, to the die hard Mandarin House Chinese New Years Partiers that have attended every year, we thank you.  Thank you for your support while my father was sick and eventually passed away.  Thank you for your support when we had our fire and was closed for almost 2 years.  And Thank you for your support in being a part of the comeback that is the Mandarin House of La Jolla today.  We wouldn’t be here without you!!  So come on down to your favorite (and the coolest) local Chinese restaurant by the sea.  Lets have a drink, a dance, and roll some lucky dice for you, for me, and for all those who will or have been touched by cancer in one way or another.
